Are there any real solutions to global warming?

Global warming why wait even longer to act?

One of the things that worries me even more than AI is global warming, because it would surely be the greatest challenge that humanity will have to face in a few years We are already suffering the consequences with a rise in temperatures, little or no rainfall, an increase in cyclones, melting of the ice that causes a rise in global sea levels.

It is possible and necessary to do something to slow down global warming, we know that in France the transport sector emits a third of the greenhouse gas emissions, which makes it the most polluting sector, and of all the means of transport, the one that pollutes the most is the car, with the heaviest impact: 16% of CO2 emissions in France in 2021.

Short and long term solutions?

There are already solutions to combat this, such as electric cars, which are not a long-term solution but are still the best way to reduce CO2 emissions, but only in the short term.

But one solution that is not yet fully developed but which is promising is hydrogen fuel cells. While electric cars are a short-term solution, hydrogen could be the long-term replacement for thermal vehicles; The ADEME estimates that a vehicle running on hydrogen produced with French electricity would emit more than twice as little greenhouse gas as a thermal vehicle.

Of all the solutions that can be found on the internet, hydrogen fuel cells seems to me to be the most plausible, even if it is still difficult to market hydrogen cars. There still remain safety considerations since hydrogen gas under high pressures is incredibly flammable and can react explosively, a serious concern in the event of a collision!

But this detail should not be a brake for the development of hydrogen cars because I really think that it is the future against global warming.
